Rooms With a View 2014

We are so thrilled with these photos that we just received from Jenny Wolf Interiors in NYC. They designed this awesome space using out tiles in their Vignette for the event, Rooms with a View In Southport CT. Being a former CT resident and lover of interiors, Sally was very familiar with this event and was happy to be asked to participate. This is particularly exciting as Rooms with a View will celebrate their 20th Year Anniversary.

To celebrate the anniversary, Thom Filicia, created and designed the anniversary theme "20/20 Visions" which celebrates the past and the future of Rooms with a View. This even alone attracts over 3,000 people in the Fairfield and Westchester County area and is sponsored by Domino Magazine and Architectural Digest.

Proceeds go directly to the Southpoint Congregational Church and other supported charities such as, Habitat for Humanity, Operation Hope, Center for Women and Families and many more that are dependent on donations.  We could not be please to be a part of such a wonderful event.

For More Information on this event, please visit the website: www.southportucc.org/RoomswithaView

Cheers to our first year!

Welcome to our blog post for September 4, 2014 and our 1 year anniversary!

We are feeling so incredible happy today, or shall we say "mirthful," as we are finally able to launch our new and improved website. We have made some excellent changes and even included a cool video which helps explain what we do here at Mirth Studio! We have added new stocked tile options that can ship out within a week. We are also thrilled to offer some new lower pricing on particular tiles and we have added an awesome gallery page and more. Please check out the new site in all its glory www.mirthstudio.com!

We welcome many changes as we enjoy our 1 year anniversary! We have spent a good portion of this past year working endlessly to produce the highest quality product for the best price point possible. We have succeeded in moving our entire manufacturing operation to our home in beautiful Charleston SC. This way we will have the ability to expedite orders at a much quicker speed and be sure the quality of our tiles remains superior to anything else! It has been a incredible experience to learn about manufacturing in this amazing country. I am proud that we can say MADE IN THE USA and contribute to our local economy.

As we reflect on our first year in business, we are humbled and honored by the support and attention we have received. We owe much thanks to all the super talented hardworking people that have helped us to grow. We are so grateful for the lovely mention in this months House Beautiful. It has done wonders spreading the word about Mirth Studio and it such an honor to be recognized in one of my all time favorite publications!

I feel truly blessed by all of the attention we have received from publications, bloggers, social media and friends. I sincerely thank you all for supporting us on this journey which has allowed me to do what I truly love: Being a working artist and entrepreneur. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Words can't express how thrilled we are with all the wonderful publications and blogs that have been writing about us!

We are so grateful for the article that featured us in the April 2014 edition of Southern Living, the post about us by the lovely Haskell Harris in her blog Magpie, and the fantastic write up on us in Style Beat Blog by Marisa Marcantonio. Thank you all for your thoughtful words!

This week has been a crazy one for Mirth Studio as we are making our debut at High Point!
We are all set up and can't wait to show off our product as well as to meet all of you, so make sure to stop by and see us at
Booth #1-747-MIAP at the Suites at Market Square on the 2nd floor

In one of our previous posts, we mentioned that one of our favorite bloggers, COCOCOZY, named us as her current obsession. Since then we have met with Coco and soon after talking with her we realized that her designs would be perfect for our tiles.
A new collaboration has begun!
Coco has agreed to become the first in our Guest Designer Series
We have her new designs at our booth and you don't want to miss them!

We'll see you there!

Mirth Studio's loves for Valentines Day!

Here at Mirth Studio, we didn't want to miss out on all the fun of Valentine's Day, so we did some soul searching to try to figure out what we love. Here is our list of Top 3 that we ended up with!

1. Our Model!

 Our Model!
We are definitely in love with this little guy! He was our model in our photoshoot, but sadly we didn't get to feature any pictures of his face on the website.
Isn't he the most adorable thing ever?
Seriously… How could we not be in love?

2. Mint & Gold!

Photoshoots, Vegas, Twitter and More!

Hello! Things have been crazy here at Mirth Studio as we try to find our place in the world! I realize we are a little behind on the launch of our full service website and "Grand Opening" but be assured, things are moving along mirthfully ( Mirthfully- adverb- in a cheerful or happy manner <an album of bawdy songs from the Elizabethan era, all of them lustily and mirthfully sung> :) As part of my new role as owner of Mirth Studio, I am getting a crash course in the benefits of social media, so please follow us on twitter, find us on facebook and look us up on pinterest! Thank goodness I have some amazing teachers and I am determined to be more diligent about posting when I find things that might be of interest!

As we sort through the entire gamut of what it takes to start a business, we have also been having a lot of fun! We have been busy organizing photo shoots, producing samples, working on new collections (black and white coming soon) and connecting with some amazing people in the design industry!

I just returned from Las Vegas where I attended the SURFACES show... Wow! What an experience that was! It showcased everything from grout to inlaid specialty flooring all in one huge convention....I found it more than a little intimidating but was happy to know we are definitely an original concept!

We are also beyond thrilled to be slated (I believe it's never a sure thing until it's it's my hand) to be featured in a national lifestyle publication in their April Issue!

Beyond that we are going to have a booth at High Point Furniture Market in April! It will be amazing to see all the new furniture and accessory collections and to introduce our product to the design world!

Thanks for taking the time to check us out and please check back soon for updates!
