The Houses of Mirth!

A big thank you to all of our customers that have been sending in photos of their completed projects! It is thrilling to see the installations and how our tiles are used in so many different spaces. If you have installed Mirth Tiles, please send in "after" photos so we can use them on our gallery page and on social media. We will show our gratitude with a lovely gift of wall art, that we will send you in return!

We wanted to share some of our favorite floors from 2014!

A Mid-Century In Memphis

Ann Parker - Ann Parker Design Studio - Memphis, TN

Ann Parker used the triangular pattern "Flirt" in the dining room in her mid-century modern home. She wanted a statement floor that would set the tone for the house. Ann Decided on our best selling "Flirt" pattern with it's triangular graphic pattern with lots of color.
"I had to convince my husband to go bold with the design and he loves it now!"

East Hampton Garden Room

East Hampton Home

Our client used the "Palm Beach" pattern and added a custom emerald green color to the design for the sun room with a view of the garden in her new East Hampton Home.
The Garden Room in addition to the rest of the home is designed as a light and airy seaside retreat. The house is predominately a clean fresh bright white with blue accents every where. Her style is traditional modern with a bit of Chinoiserie thrown into the mix. She loves layering patterns and textures so Mirth Tiles fit her aesthetic with perfect results.

Villa in Dubai

Melody Thurling - Whispering Pines - Dubai

Interior Designer Melody Thurling decided to use Mirth's COCOCOZY Ring pattern in ebony and cream when renovating the conservatory in her villa overlooking a golf course in Dubai. Patterned tile is, of course, a tradition in the Middle East, but has only been offered in ceramic, never in wood.
"We love the warm forgiving feeling of the wood, after being an expat for 20 years, I cannot live with cold tile anymore" she said. This geometric "Ring" design was created by blogger and design Coco of COCOCOZY and licensed to Mirth.

Connecticut Showplace

Jenny Wolf - Rooms With a View - Connecticut Showplace

Mirth Tiles were installed at "Rooms with a View" in Southport, Connecticut, a charity designer event started by Albert Hadley 20 years ago. Jenny Wolf Interiors chose to use the custom colored black and white "Macau" pattern for the Ladies' Study to create a workspace that was dramatic yet still calming. Here the tiles were used as a temporary floor. They're easily installed over any level surface and can be taken apart and packed for the next location within minutes.

Please keep sending photos of your installed Mirth Studio tiles. We love seeing the creative uses!
